At present, Raasay Primary School pupils are all learning online from home with their own Chromebook devices. They have their own online classroom and are meeting the challenges very successfully.

The topic for this term is ‘The Vikings’ and pupils are learning about all aspects of Viking life and culture. They will be investigating Viking weaponry, clothing, jewellery, longships, food, games, sports and Viking Gods to name a few. The children have been making their own model longships and weapons and will be trying out a few recipes later on. On Friday 12th February, pupils will take part in an online workshop which will cover some aspects of Viking life and culture.

Random Acts of Kindness Week – the children were taking part in this and found their own ways of being kind to others, for example by washing the dishes and by feeding the birds.
