On Friday 31st July pupils from Raasay Primary School took part in the local Mod in Portree. The pupils all put in a tremendous effort in preparing for the Mod and all came away with excellent results and comments. Nelly won the Gold medal for the singing competition and Silver medal for her amazing rendition of ‘Hallaig’ by Sorley MacLean. Hamish was awarded the Silver medal for poetry and Calum the Bronze. Tabby, Noah ,Thomas and Tamsin performed their poems beautifully and were marked very highly.
