On Wednesday 3rd July we held our annual Prizegiving to celebrate pupils’ successes and achievements over the course of the year. We were delighted to welcome Deputy Lord Lieutenant John Laing as our special guest. He presented the children with a certificate in recognition of the work undertaken by them in their World War 1 project at the beginning of the year. Raasay Primary was one of only two schools in the are who received this special certificate and we were delighted that he came to present it to us. Our Prizegiving was also a chance to wish Tabby a fond farewell as she finishes Primary 7 and also Tamsin who will be moving away with her family in August. We will miss them both but look forward to hearing how they are getting on and hope that they will visit us often.
