As part of their Eco work pupils undertook a beach clean at the shore in front of the Playing Field and managed to gather several bags of rubbish. Once back at school pupils counted 206 individual items and sorted them into different materials – they then produced their own graph showing how much of each type of item was found. The majority of rubbish appears to be random plastic items followed by ropes and bottles. Thank you to parents who joined us to help out.
