On Monday 27th June, Raasay pupils enjoyed their annual Sports Day – with parents and community members being invited to come along for the first time in three years! The pupils had decided on a ‘Roman’ theme for their Sports Day and lots of fun was had by all. The sun shone for us in the afternoon despite it being a damp start to the day. It was wonderful to have the support of parents and the wider community after so long. There were a range of challenges which the children planned for the day e.g. toss the Roman sandal, olive and spoon race, gladiator challenge, ‘Romans on the Rampage’ obstacle course, to name but a few!
